Mr. Pons is a Principal in Ares Real Estate, where he focuses on European real estate equity asset management. Prior to joining Ares in 2018, Mr. Pons was a Director at Hines (Luxembourg), where he focused on Portfolio Management of the AIFM and was also responsible for ensuring effective and efficient management of the portfolio of real estate assets held by companies domiciled in Luxembourg. Previously, Mr. Pons was a Director at Hines (Spain), where he led the development and subsequent asset management of the Zielo Shopping Centre in Pozuelo, Madrid. In addition, he worked for CBRE as Director of Valuations and Investment Consulting and in the Investments Department. Mr. Pons holds a B.Sc. from Oxford Brookes University in Real Estate Management and an M.B.A. from the University of Miami. Mr. Pons is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
