Dave Hernandez

Mr. Hernandez is a Vice President in Ares Real Estate, where he focuses on U.S. industrial real estate equity portfolio management. Prior to joining Ares in 2021, Mr. Hernandez was an Associate at Black Creek Group, where he focused on portfolio management, portfolio strategy and execution, fund modeling and management, performance analytics, property valuations, and investor reporting and diligence inquiries. Previously, Mr. Hernandez was a Senior Fund Accountant in the Fund Control group at Magnetar Capital, where he focused on investment valuations and asset pricing, preparation and review of fund net asset values and investor performance, coordination of fund audits and preparation of the funds' financial statements. In addition, Mr. Hernandez was a Senior Associate in the audit and attestation services practice at RSM US LLP in the manufacturing and distribution industry. Mr. Hernandez holds a B.S. in Accountancy and a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Mr. Hernandez is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and a CFA® charterholder. Mr. Hernandez holds a CPA license in the state of Illinois.
