Partner and Head of North Asia Private Equity
Mr. Lin is a Partner and Head of North Asia Private Equity in Ares Asia. Prior to joining Ares in 2023, Mr. Lin was a Partner at Crescent Point, where he oversaw the firm's investment activities in North Asia. Previously, Mr. Lin was the Shanghai Chief Representative and a Director in the Investment Banking Department at Credit Suisse, where he covered consumer, retail, technology and renewable energy sectors in China. In addition, Mr. Lin was an Associate in the Investment Banking Department at Morgan Stanley in New York and Hong Kong, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions. He began his career as an Associate at Ernst & Young, Chicago. Mr. Lin serves on the Boards of Directors of Primetime Group Co., Ltd. and China Showyu Healthcare Limited. Mr. Lin holds a B.S. from Illinois State University in Accountancy and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. Mr. Lin holds a CPA license and is a CFA® charterholder.
