Michael Shao

Mr. Shao is a Vice President in Ares Asia. Prior to joining Ares in 2023, Mr. Shao was a Senior Associate in the Real Estate team at Blackstone, where he focused on the origination and execution of real estate investments and public mergers and acquisition transactions. Previously, Mr. Shao was an Associate in the Real Estate Investing team at Morgan Stanley, where he focused on the acquisition, asset management and disposition of real estate investments. Mr. Shao holds a B.Com. in Finance and an LL.B. (Hons) in Law from the University of New South Wales.
