Ming Tze Tjia

Mr. Tjia is a Principal in Ares Asia, where he focuses on private equity. Prior to joining Ares in 2023, Mr. Tjia was a Director at Crescent Point, where he focused on private equity investment in Southeast Asian consumer businesses. Previously, Mr. Tjia was an Executive Director at Southern Capital Group, where he focused on middle-market buyouts in Southeast Asia. In addition, he was an Equity Analyst at Och-Ziff Capital Management, where he focused on public market equities in Asia. He holds a B.S. and a B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania in Finance and International Relations.
