Sonya Lee

Ms. Lee is a Partner and Head of Product Management and Investor Relations, Alternative Credit in the Ares Investor Relations Group. Prior to joining Ares in 2012, Ms. Lee was a Director in the Credit Structuring Group at Barclays Capital, where she focused on leading the U.S. CLO origination business and had primary responsibility for originating and marketing structured credit products. Previously, Ms. Lee was a Vice President at Lehman Brothers, where she focused on structuring and syndicating CDOs backed by a variety of corporate credit and ABS. In addition, Ms. Lee was an Analyst in the CDO Banking Group at Lehman Brothers. Ms. Lee holds a B.S., magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School in Economics.
